Bed & Breakfast Owner Convicted Of Arson For Insurance Money

BLACK HAWK, Colo. (CBS4) - The former owner of a bed and breakfast has been convicted of setting his own business on fire for the insurance money.

The fire destroyed the Creek Side Bed and Breakfast in Black Hawk in January of 2009

Terrence Ballowe faces up to 12 years in prison. He increased the insurance twice on his business in the months before the arson. He even called the morning of the fire to make sure his policy was good.
