Teen Found Floating Face Down In Fort Collins Pond
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - An autopsy will be done Wednesday morning on a teenager who was found floating face down in a pond in Fort Collins.
The boy's body was pulled from the Westfield Retention Pond on Seneca Street Tuesday morning.
Rescue crews performed CPR on the teen but it was too late.
Neighbors watched as the body was pulled from the water.
"I didn't know how long he was in the water but it certainly didn't seem like he was going to make it," one neighbor said.
"He wasn't moving he didn't have a pulse you could tell they were checking his pulse," another neighbor told CBS4.
Police said there were no signs of foul play in the drowning.
The name of the victim so far hasn't been released.
