Officers Shoot, Kill Man Who Shot At Them In Fruita

FRUITA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Fruita are investigating a shooting involving an officer that ended with the death of one man.

The incident happened during a routine traffic stop early Saturday morning. Police say the man was pulled over for a traffic violation. He then started to run and fired several shots at three officers.

Police returned fire, killing the man.

No officers were hurt in the shooting.
