HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Highlands Ranch are hoping to find the suspects responsible for a vandalism spree that spanned 25 blocks in a single night last week.

The crimes took place early Friday morning south of C-470 between University and Broadway.

The suspects are two white males, possibly older teenagers. They are responsible for shattering the windows of 25 different home or car windows, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Video from a home security system shows the suspects stopping a silver SUV outside the house, getting out of the car, switching drivers and one of the suspects hurling a rock at the house's front window. The video shows the window shattering.

Sheriff's investigators in Douglas County said the suspects could face felony charges. They told CBS4 they are hoping someone recognizes the suspects from the security video.

"I would love to get my little hands on them," said Luann Dodge, whose car window was smashed by a rock. She said the vandals "playfully put a cone from the street on top of my car."

"I'd like to meet them and I'd like to talk to their parents and I'd like to hold them responsible," Dodge said.

Michelle Harien told CBS she was woken in the night when she heard the window shattering on her neighbor's home.

"I'm scared now," she said. "I want to make sure I'm protected and I want to know who it is. Is it just some kids or is it a gang?"
