Pedestrian Dies After Getting Struck By Delivery Truck On I-70
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police say they aren't sure why a man was on Interstate 70 when he was hit and killed early Monday morning.
Originally police thought the man was changing the tire on a vehicle parked in the area near Peoria Street in the eastbound lanes, but now they say he wasn't connected to the car.
The man apparently stepped into the path of a delivery truck. That driver stopped and stayed at the scene.
The names of the driver and victim haven't been released.
