Car Crashes Into Convenience Store In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Fortunately no one was hurt when a car slammed into the front of a convenience store on the Hill in Boulder.

The car slammed into the front of the "Everyday" store just after 4 p.m. near the University of Colorado campus in Boulder.

Police said the 24-year-old driver caused the crash. She told police that she was trying to park and hit the gas instead of the brake.

The woman is from Nepal and only received her driver's license two months ago. She has been living in the U.S. for a few years.

An employee inside the convenience store was standing behind the counter just 20-25 feet from where the car crashed.

Police in Boulder are still investigating the incident and haven't released any details about possible charges, if any.
