Lake Dillon Getting Boost From Spring Melt
FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4) - The spring melt is giving a big boost to Lake Dillon.
The water is down considerably after two years of dry weather. It's still down about 28 feet but Bob Evans, manager at the marina, says the level is rising quickly.
"Right now it's coming up about six inches a day in the vertical sense. So the horizontal sense, it depends where you are on the shore, it could be up to a foot," Evans said.
The Dillon Marina will be open this weekend but there will be construction. More parking is being added as well as two more launch ramps for boats.
