Windsor Tornado Happened 5 Years Ago

WINDSOR, Colo. (CBS4) - Wednesday marks five years since a tornado ripped through the town of Windsor in Northern Colorado.

The twister killed one man outside Greeley and destroyed 78 homes.

It damaged approximately 3,000 others as it tore through the town. Damage was also reported in other parts of Weld County.

The tornado was an EF3 with wind speeds that may have reached 165 mph.
