Get A Great Price On Gently Used Gear

DENVER (CBS4)- Buying new sports gear for the kids can be a budget buster. But there are ways around that with the Gear Grab.

The used sports gear sale is Saturday and Sunday at 9th Avenue and Bannock Street in Denver.

You can buy or sell used sporting equipment including skateboards, bats, balls, tents, outer wear, ski and snowboard equipment or anything else you can swing, roll, swat or catch.

Gear Grab is a community-based consignment event.

"It's a 70-30 split on consignment, the 30 goes to put on the event and also help out Salvation Army and ARC," said Gear Grab spokesman Aaron Hart.

The sale opens at noon both days. Those who wish to sell must register ahead of time.
