Police Arrest Suspect In Murder At Denny's Near Sports Authority Field At Mile High

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have made an arrest in a murder at a Denny's restaurant near Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Taylor Bandy, 19, is in police custody. His photo hasn't been released.

According to police, officers responded to a call about a vehicle with a bullet hole in the parking lot of the Denny's located at 1605 Federal Boulevard just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday. When officers arrived they found a white GMC Yukon with a bullet hole in the driver's side and the man dead in the driver's seat.

Lt. Matt Murray with Denver police said Saturday night Denny's employees saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. It was there overnight. Employees decided to call police the next morning. Denny's was open all night.

The victim's identity hasn't been released.
