Don Quick Launches Attorney General Campaign
DENVER (AP) - Former Adams County District Attorney Don Quick is hoping to become Colorado's next attorney general.
He formally launched his candidacy Monday on the west steps of the state Capitol.
Quick, a Democrat, is seeking to replace Attorney General John Suthers in 2014. Suthers, a Republican, is term limited. Republican Rep. Mark Waller, the Republican leader in the state House leader, is expected to announce his candidacy for the position later this summer.
