Aurora Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Aurora are investigating a fatal stabbing.

According to police, just after 9 p.m. officers were called to an apartment in the 1100 block of Yosemite Street on a report of a stabbing.

"When officers arrived, they found an adult male inside of the residence suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was rushed into surgery with serious injuries. He died a few hours later," police said in a statement.

Some witnesses were detained, questioned and later released. No arrests have been made.

Police haven't released the name of the victim.
