Warning To Parents About App That Stores Secret Photos

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office has a warning to parents about an app that could keep secrets hidden from them.

The app is called "Keep Safe" and once loaded onto a phone or iPad it becomes a secret storage center for photos that users may want to hide.

A password is needed to access the contents.

Investigators said even the most diligent parents may have a hard time spotting this app.

They suggest monitoring and browsing through your children's devices on a regular basis and getting familiar with the latest apps they've downloaded.
