Some Frontier Passengers Will Now Be Charged For Carry-On Bags

DENVER (CBS4) - Frontier Airlines will start charging some of its customers for carry-on bags starting this summer.

The new fee will only apply to travelers who buy the cheapest level ticket and book through a website other than Frontier's. They'll pay between $25 and $100 to put a bag in overhead storage. Carry-ons will remain free for all other customers.

Also this summer, Frontier will start charging passengers on economy and basic fares $2 for on-board drinks.
