BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Andre Roberson, the nation’s second-best college rebounder, will turn pro Colorado and opt out of his senior season at the University of Colorado.
Roberson, a junior, led the Pac-12 with an 11.2-rebounding average to go with his 10.9-point scoring average and helped the Buffaloes reach their second straight NCAA tournament for the first time in a half-century.
At 210 pounds, Roberson lacks the size of prototypical rebounders but makes up for it with his leaping ability and skills around the basket.
Head coach Tad Boyle said “We support Andre and want what’s best for him and his family.”
