GEORGETOWN, Colo. (AP) – Just a handful of Colorado ski resorts will be open after this weekend.

The trade group Colorado Ski Country USA has said skier visits at its member resorts through February were down compared with the same period last winter, partly because of a dryer start to the season. Spring storms are bringing more snow though.
