Sheriffs Plan Lawsuit To Block New State Gun Laws

DENVER (CBS4) - More than half of Colorado's sheriffs are planning a lawsuit to block new state gun laws.

Thirty-seven of Colorado's 62 elected sheriffs say they are prepared to sue to overturn laws that limit ammunition magazines to 15 rounds and require background checks for all private gun sales.

The proposed suit would say the laws violate the Second Amendment.
