Search Is On For Person Who Shot, Killed Man In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - The search is on for a killer who shot a man overnight in Denver.

The crime happened just before 11 p.m. Monday night around 26th and Bryant streets, near Federal Boulevard and Speer Boulevard.

Very few details are known about the man who was killed so far, and Denver police are asking for the public's help in the case.

Police first responded to the scene after getting a "shots fired" call with word of a possible victim.

When officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Police don't have a suspect description at this point and are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crimestoppers.
