Highway 70 Reopens Following Extended Closure
IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Xcel Energy crews were working on power lines on westbound Interstate 70 near Idaho Springs for most of the day Monday, and it led to an extended highway closure.
All of the westbound lanes were closed until the late afternoon at Beaver Brook and there were delays eastbound as well.
A semi flipped in the morning and pulled down the wires.
