Livermore Man Cited With Cruelty To Horses
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Larimer County sheriff's officials say a Livermore man has been cited with 20 counts of animal cruelty over accusations that his horses didn't have water.
Officials seized 20 horses Thursday and cited 57-year-old Carl Preyss with the misdemeanor counts. He declined to comment on the record Friday.
Sheriff's officials contend several of the seized horses appeared underfed and there allegedly was no water available for the herd.
