IRS Agents Raid Gun Shop In Wheat Ridge
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- IRS agents raided a well-known gun shop in Wheat Ridge on Friday.
Gunsmoke is located at 9690 West 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge. The gun shop was robbed last month.
Gunsmoke was featured in the cancelled reality show "American Guns."
IRS agents released very few details about what they were looking for inside.
"We are executing a court-ordered search warrant and it relates to a financial investigation and we are working with the United States Attorney's Office in Denver, Colorado," said IRS Special Agent Bryan Thiel.
Police said 15 weapons were stolen from Gunsmoke, 12 handguns and three rifles were taken. The thieves got in through the roof.

The store has so many guns it took police several days to figure out exactly what was stolen.
