Former Nugget Birdman Stars In Massively Popular New 'Harlem Shake' Vid

DENVER (CBS4) - Former Denver Nuggets fan favorite is very quickly becoming a YouTube star.

Forward Chris "Birdman" Anderson now plays for the Miami Heat, and he gets the party started in the team's silly version of the "Harlem Shake" dance craze that was released Thursday. He hops among the players in the locker room, who are stretching and appear to be getting ready to play basketball, and then comes close to the camera lens and begins flapping his long arms like a bird.

The heavily tattooed Birdman also appears after the locker room has exploded with action and the players have donned crazy costumes. Anderson is seen with sunglasses on and a bandana over his face.

Teammate LeBron "King" James puts in quite a performance, too. James, last year's NBA MVP, shakes his chest and his crown like a mad king.

On Friday afternoon the clip had nearly 3 million video views.

The dance is to the song of the same name, and countless videos have popped up where one person starts dancing, then the camera cuts to a large group of people dancing, many in costume.
