Guilty Plea In Rear-End Collision That Killed 1-Year-Old

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- A man accused of causing a collision that killed a 1-year-old child has pleaded guilty in the case.

Timothy Clayton's SUV and trailer rear-ended a vehicle on Oct. 14, 2012 on northbound Highway 287 near the Rock Creek Pumpkin Farm.

Michelle Pincus and her 1-year-old child, Nedra, were in that vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Nedra died and Pincus was severely injured.

Clayton pleaded guilty on Friday to one count of careless driving causing death and careless driving causing injury.

Clayton is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 26 in Broomfield County Court.
