Denver Police ID 'Mr. Clean Bandit,' Need Help Finding Him

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have identified a man who has been dubbed the "Mr. Clean Bandit," but they still need to locate him.

Police on Monday released a mug shot of Eddie Nelson from a previous arrest in hopes somebody will recognize him and alert police to his whereabouts.

According to police, on Jan. 15, at approximately 5 p.m. a man who police believe is Nelson entered the Dependable Cleaners located at 2040 East 18th Avenue and demanded money at knife point.

Nelson, 50, is described as a 6-foot-tall black man.

Anyone with information is asked to call Denver police at (720) 913-2000. Remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-STOP (7867). Text to CRIMES (274637) then title DMCS and enter the message or send an e-mail to metro-denvercrimestoppers.com.
