Nuggets Star Kenneth Faried Shows Support For Civil Unions
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Nuggets star Kenneth Faried has gone public with his support for civil unions.
Faried posted a video on YouTube that included his two mothers who have been together for 11 years.
Faried said he struggled to accept his mother's homosexuality at first, but says now he wouldn't have it any other way.
"No matter what, I'm always going to call her mother," he said. "Nobody will ever tell me I cant have two mothers, because I really do."
Faried said his mother's homosexuality took some getting used to, but now he wants others to learn from his experience.
