Officer Slams Into Car With Woman, Child During Suspect Chase
DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver police officer along with a woman and her child were rushed to the hospital after the officer crashed into the woman's car Friday afternoon.
The crash happened while the officer was trying to catch a suspect near the Cherry Creek Mall. The woman and her child were trapped, but officers say both will be okay.
The officer, woman and child were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The suspect, identified by police as Craig Dickson, was later caught at 6th Avenue and Broadway. It's not clear why he was wanted by police.
