COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - A man is in jail after telling police he killed someone and then leading them to the body of a 14-year-old girl.

The girl's body was found early Monday morning in Commerce City in the 8600 block of Verbena Street, not far from the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

Police said Esequiel Padilla-Villalobos, 24, called 911 just before midnight and said he killed someone and that he wanted to turn himself in.

So far police haven't released the victim's name and they have not said exactly what the relationship might have been between the suspect and the girl. They also haven't provided any clues about how the girl was killed.

Padilla-Villalobos tentatively faces a first-degree murder charge. He is being held at the Adams County Detention Facility.
