Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Multiple Assaults

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Lakewood on Friday released a sketch of a man they say may have attacked three women.

In the most recent cases -- two incidents which happened on the same day -- the women were able to fight off their attacker. One woman even used a can of pepper spray to defend herself.

The two latest attacks happened 20 minutes apart on Dec. 18. The first was near Colfax Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard, where a woman walking to her car, and the second was near South Kipling and Jewell, where another woman was targeted.

Police said the man was driving a blue minivan.

About a week earlier a man driving a gold colored car rear ended a woman driving home along West Dartmouth Avenue. When she got out to check for damage, police say the other driver sexually assaulted her.

Even though the suspect has been in different vehicles the description of the man is pretty close: a white or Hispanic man in his 30s with a medium build who is 5-foot-5 with brown hair and severe acne and scars. The suspect may have scratches to his face and eyes from the altercations with the women in the incidents.
