Woman Killed In Denver Hit-And-Run Identified

DENVER (CBS4) - Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who killed a pedestrian in the 2800 block of South Sheridan Boulevard.

It happened about 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Sheridan and Amherst. Witnesses say someone driving a white minivan hit a woman, identified as Dolly Rosales, 58, of Denver.

Rosales was standing in the turning lane at the time.

"We don't have a plate, we don't have any description of the driver," Raquel Lopez with Denver police said. "All we do have is that it is a white minivan. We don't have, unfortunately, the make of the van."

Police believe the front end of the minivan may show front-end damage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
