'Ethical Hacking' One Way Denver Businessman Makes His Mark

CBS4 and the Denver Business Journal are teaming up to profile companies that are "Making Their Mark" in Colorado communities.

DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver company is making a mark in business by protecting secrets.

Russell Wurth is director of partner services with Accuvant, and says his company specializes in keeping information secure and free of hackers.

"People are putting themselves out there a lot more, so security needs to be at the forefront of solving some of these challenges," Wurth told CBS4.

Wurth also serves as a board member of the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers Inc. He says one of his goals is to help teach young people how to protect themselves.

"I'm trying to make my mark by participating where I can in the community," Wurth said. "I'm looking to get involved in things like hack kids which teaches kids ethical hacking."
