Historic Landmark Status Application Price Goes Up In Denver
DENVER (CBS4) - The city of Denver is raising the price to apply for historic landmark status.
The current $250 fee will more than triple to $875. One of the reasons for the increase is to make it harder for people to request historic status on buildings they don't own.
This summer a University of Colorado student tried to prevent the redevelopment of the old Gates Rubber Company building on Broadway in Denver by filing an application. That application was rejected.
