More Alleged Victims Surface In Child Sex Assault Case

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- More charges have been filed against a man recently arrested for sexually assaulting a child after more potential victims surfaced.

Police in Parker said more alleged victims have talked to detectives after CBS4 reported that Corrin Cleveland had been arrested last week.

Police have not said how many more victims or where the alleged assaults took place but do confirm that Cleveland is facing additional child abuse charges.

"It's more and more and it's sickening to think there are more charges against this man," said Parker resident Eric Jacobson.

Police arrested Cleveland, 19, last week after two boys came forward. The boys said Cleveland touched one of them inappropriately and then touched himself in the men's locker room at the Parker Recreation Center on Nov. 6.

Rec center staff were able to get a license plate number that helped police track down Cleveland. The rec center is located at 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. in Parker.

"Just thinking, 'Wow, I was in the lockerroom.' Who knows, maybe he was in there when I was here and again, it's just dumbfounding," said Jacobson.

"It's very, very scary. It's very frightening," said Parker resident Becky Jacobson. "We feel safe in our community and now suddenly we don't."

Because Cleveland was a juvenile when he registered as a sex offender, his name was never released to the public.

"Just make sure the children are informed by their parents and they should report it to authorities and not feel embarrassed about it," said Parker resident Bob McMaster.

Police fear that even though more alleged victims have come forward there may be even more out there who haven't.

Cleveland remains in jail on a $75,000 bond.
