Police believe the man then got into a fight outside of the bar with one or two people. He then fell and struck his head. Police said another man continued to hit and kick the man after he fell.

The injured man was rushed to the hospital where he died a short time later.

"Detectives are interviewing one of those parties in an attempt to determine the exact cause of the victim's death," police said.

Police said the investigation into how the man died, whether it was from fatal injuries suffered when he struck his head, or from the additional blows after he was already on the ground.

Detectives said once the coroner's findings are released they will have a clearer picture of what happened and what caused the man's death. Until that time they are withholding charges that may include assault or homicide.
