Operations Nearly Back To Normal At Denver Airport
DENVER (AP) — Operations are almost back to normal at Denver International Airport following Hurricane Sandy.
With all three major airports serving the New York area back open, fewer than 20 flights were canceled in Denver on Thursday.
Hurricane Sandy canceled thousands of flights across the country. Airlines positioned planes at airports around the country, including Denver's, to escape the storm and to help resume flights after the reopening of East Coast airports.
