Police Say Man Bragged On Facebook About Pimping Out Colorado Girl

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police say a man who allegedly bragged about pimping out a young Colorado girl on Facebook has been arrested.

Police said Kelon Tyrell Kilgore, 32, was arrested by federal and municipal law enforcement officials for pimping and pandering on Oct. 23 in Virginia.

"Investigators believe Kilgore lured and recruited a young woman from Colorado to travel to Rhode Island under the pretext of a spring break vacation in March," police said in a statement. "Once in Rhode Island, Kilgore manipulated the young woman and coerced her into working as a prostitute, traveling from Rhode Island through Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Indiana and finally Colorado."

Police said Kilgore bragged of his exploits on Facebook and called himself "Providence Procurer."

Kilgore was previously convicted of receiving money from earnings of a prostitute in Norfolk, Va. in 2010, according to police records.

Kilgore is awaiting extradition to Denver.
