Man Accused Of Flight Interference May Avoid Trial
DENVER (CBS4) - A passenger who caused a ruckus on a JetBlue flight that was forced to land in Denver may avoid a trial.
Another passenger took cellphone video of Marcus Covington of Chicago after he was arrested on a flight in August. He's accused of groping a pregnant woman and interfering with the crew on the flight from New York to Los Angeles.
The pilot made an emergency landing in Denver.
Covington's trial was supposed to start Monday, but instead his attorney filed paperwork indicating he's changing his plea to guilty.
