Man Accused In Officer's Death Pleads Not Guilty

ELNGLEWOOD, Colo. - The man accused of driving drunk and killing an Englewood police officer pleaded not guilty in court on Friday.

An April trail date is now set for Conner Donohue. Prosecutors say his blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit when he hit Officer Jeremy Bitner.

Bitner was conducting a traffic stop when he was hit last May on South Broadway. Investigators say Donohue told them he thought he only nicked another car and didn't know he hit the officer.
