Shots Fired Outside Obama Campaign Office

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are investigating shots fired outside the President Obama re-election campaign office.

One shot was fired into the office building at 77 West 9th at about 3 p.m. Friday. No one was hurt but a glass panel was shattered.

There were people inside the office at the time of the shooting. It is a field office for the Obama campaign, not the headquarters.

Police do not know if the shooting was intentionally targeting the campaign office or if it was a stray bullet.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses to compile a suspect vehicle description.
