Broomfield Police Investigate Possible Meth Lab

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Broomfield and the North Metro Drug Task Force are investigating a possible meth lab.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Coral Way to execute a search warrant at about 9 a.m. Wednesday.

During the search officers discovered indications of a possible methamphetamine lab.

The North Metro Drug Task Force was called in to investigate and assist with the potential hazardous material incident at the location.

Crews arrived to find a potential meth lab and are currently investigating.

Two police officers from Broomfield were taken to the hospital for potential exposure to the hazards.

According to North Metro Drug Task Force this is the third suspected methamphetamine lab that they have responded to in recent days.
