Woman's Body Found On Sandbar In Eagle River Near Gypsum

GYPSUM, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman's body was found by a fisherman in the Eagle River on Friday.

The Eagle County Sheriff's Office said the fisherman reported what appeared to be body located on a sandbar in the river behind the Gypsum Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Authorities recovered the body of an unidentified female. The cause of death and identification of the woman will be determined by the Eagle County Coroner's Office.
