Marathon On Saturday To Have A Big Impact On Denver Traffic

The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon closes roads across the Denver area.

Some of the closures will last into the afternoon Saturday.

The race starts at Civic Center Park, goes near the Auraria Campus, over City Park Lake, South near the DU Campus then heads back to Civic Center Park.

There will also be parking restrictions along the route as well.

They will start picking up the road closures once the final runner has passed, so some of the roads will be back open shortly after the start of the race.
