Englewood Police Want Help Locating Assault Suspect

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Englewood would like the public's help locating a suspect in an assault on two people.

Police said around 11:14 p.m. on Friday officers responded to a call about two people injured from an assault in the 4700 block of South Acoma Street.

"Upon arrival the officers located a 56-year-old female victim and a 59-year-old male victim," police said in a statement. "Both victims received serious bodily injury and one is listed in critical condition."

Codell Loats, 27, has been identified as a suspect in the assaults. He may be driving a maroon Oldsmobile Bravada with Colorado license plate 393-VNU.

The names of the victims have not been released.
