Wildlife Officials Remove Hammock From Elk's Antlers

SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4) - An elk is back in the wild after getting itself in quite the predicament in Snowmass Village on Thursday.

Somebody living nearby called animal control when they spotted the bull elk with part of a hammock caught in its antlers. Wildlife officials tranquilized the elk and untangled it.

When the animal woke up it wandered off unharmed.
