Allstate Insurance Helps Rist Canyon Fire Department With Some Maintenance

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department was working 24 hours a day for three straight weeks to battle wildfires in Larimer County. Now the firefighters are giving their truck some much-needed maintenance.

The fire department got some extra hands from Allstate Insurance.

"We're going to clean things up, test hoses, just help get the trucks back in shape after the fire," Chief Bob Gann said.

"This is one thing that needs to be done, and done from the heart," Allstate Agent Larry Howell said.

Along with the elbow grease provided by its employees, Allstate donated $10,000 to the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department.
