CSU Raises $112M From Private Donors

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Colorado State University says it set a record for fundraising from private donors with $111.6 million in the fiscal year that ended in June.

CSU said Thursday that represents a 31 percent increase from the previous year.

The university says it had nearly 32,000 total donors, an increase of 14 percent from the previous year.

CSU also says it has wrapped up its Campaign for Colorado State University, which raised $537.3 million, primarily for scholarships and academic programs.

The campaign exceeded its goal of $500,000 and reached that mark six months ahead of plan.
