Denver Rescue Mission Says Procedures Weren't Followed

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Rescue Mission says its investigation has revealed what sent approximately 60 people to the hospital after eating there on Sunday.

Officials with the mission determined that employees didn't follow established procedure when handling pre-prepared food donations on Sunday.

As a precaution, the shelter is no longer serving pre-prepared foods.

Most of those with food poisoning have been treated and released from the hospital.
