Front Range Gun Shops See Increase In Demand
BYERS, Colo. (CBS4) - Gun shops and firing ranges across the Denver metro area say they are seeing an increase in demand for guns and concealed weapons permits.
Lead Valley Firing Range manager Glenn Rotkovich says people are taking action after the theater shootings.
Rotcovich described a recent inquiry.
"(The man said) 'I love going to the movies, I'm not going to be the next one (shot),' " Rotcovich said.
Background checks for guns are up 41 percent in Colorado since the shooting.
