DENVER (CBS4) – One of the most popular shows to ever hit the Buell Theatre is the Tony Award winning musical Jersey Boys.

Based on the career of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the show explores lives and careers — and winds up as a dance party.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody reports Jersey Boys is a treat for the eye and the ear that reaches across generations and somehow has everyone in the audience — young old and in between — up and dancing at the end of the show. And he says it’s even better than the last time it was in Denver.

“The audience responds — no matter what their age — like nothing I’ve ever seen,” Moody reports. “There’s no quiet appreciation of the music here. They build up to the big three, and the audience just goes nuts.”

“Thanks to the beat and the musicality, you just can’t help being pulled into the songs, the story and the music,” Moody said.
