CBS4, KBCO, 93.3 Team Up To Bring Relief To Wildfire Victims

DENVER (CBS4)- Many people want to help the victims of Colorado's devastating wildfires. CBS4 teamed up with radio stations KBCO and Channel 93.3, along with AEG Live, for a concert fundraiser.

Music lovers could call in to one of the two radio stations and bid on VIP tickets to three different concerts coming up at Red Rocks, either the Avett Brothers, Blues Traveler or Foster The People. All the money raised went to the Denver chapter of the Red Cross.

"A big thanks to CBS4 viewers and KBCO and KTCL listeners. We really appreciate the effort to help out people who have been devastated by these horrific fires up and down the Front Range. The Red Cross is really appreciative of all the money that we've raised. A lot of people are going to have a spectacular time seeing the Avid Brothers tomorrow night and Blues Traveler on the 4th of July," said KBCO Radio Personality Bret Saunders.

KBCO rasied $17,750 during its auction and Channel 93.3 raised $7,975.

Although all the VIP tickets were gone in a matter of hours, there are still options for those who want to help the wildfire victims in Colorado in our Wildfire Relief section.
