Idaho, Colorado Experts To Help In Search For South Dakota Teen

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Experts from Idaho and Colorado are being brought in to help search for the body of a teenage boy who disappeared while kayaking on a southwest South Dakota lake.

The search for 15-year-old Justin Lewis of Hill City has been ongoing since he disappeared May 28. His boat and life jacket were found early in the search but there has been no trace of him and he is presumed drowned in Deerfield Lake.

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office says a team from Idaho is bringing a boat with additional sonar equipment, and a dog team that specializes in deep underwater recovery is coming from Colorado.
